What is Frag?
Frag for Cancer is a phenomenon in the eSports world that raises funds to fight various forms of diseases and supports charities throughout Canada proving community engagement and collaboration is still alive!

Since 2005, the Frag eSports Society has been vigilant in the fight by hosting an annual video gaming tournament called Frag for Cancer, a 50,000+ sq. ft. 3-Day gaming marathon located in Halifax with tournaments, Free play areas, casual zones, board games, cosplay, and more!
*Frag is a video gaming term that means ‘to defeat’ or eliminate.

About Us:

Frag for Cancer is Atlantic Canada’s largest video gaming tournament, which raises money for cancer fighting causes, and this year we have partnered with Movember Canada. We started in 2005 as a University Society event and have grown so much more since then.

Charity:

Frag eSports Society has raised funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the Canadian Mental Health Association. We are currently working with Movember, who are addressing prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.

Our mission is to build a vibrant eSports community in our region. Working with the biggest eSports brands in the world, we are able to bring technology and services to enhance the gaming experience. We seek to help our society by hosting fundraising tournaments to raise funds for health related organizations.
