Frag For Cancer would like to thank all our supporters in the 6 years of hosting tournaments, comedy nights, lingerie fashion shows, BBQ’s, overnight marathons, and much more. We would like to take the opportunity to announce our broadening mission statement to support other charities throughout the future. We are rebranding to Frag For Charity, and starting our first tournament called Frag For Mental Health. Please like and visit us on Facebook as we start our transition!

FFC @ MLG Providence – Updated!

As we have previously announced – we got our FFC crew attending this year’s MLG Providence! Since Friday, we had quite a few live updates from the guys on-site, if you want to check them out -head on over to our official Twitter page. The bigger updates will be posted in this very post, so make sure to check back to see all the things we’re given by the guys at the event.

Update: We got a nice shot of how the stage area looks like from where the FFC crew is sitting! Check if you can spot the pro gamer in the background! What a great end to a weekend, words can not describe the level of excitement in here for Huk and Naniwa so awesome!

Update #1We were very happy to meet 9-year old Austin who saw his dreams come true in MLG Providence, playing in an expo match with all of his favorite Call of Duty: Black Ops professional gamers and New England Patriots Running Back Stevan Ridley. He is a great reminder to all of us of what games can do for people and how they bring them together! Check out this official MLG.TV channel interviewing Austin. We wish Austin and his lovely family all the best!

Update #2: Our crew was lucky to meet Husky after a short lunch break and as Geoff Robb commented himself “Husky is the nicest guy”. More updates to come!

Update #3: We’ve got another picture update! This time its GeoffRobb and dchohan with LiquidJinro! Meeting some great people and some amazing SC2 players – weekend well spent indeed!

Update #4: Our FFC crew members are also accomplishing their own goals - dchohan got his own shirt signed by none other than NesTea himself!

MLG Providence – FFC Crew reporting in for duty!

The rumors were indeed true! Frag For Cancer crew is attending this year’s MLG Providence! For those following the competitive gaming scene – you are already excited and waiting for the event to begin! This year’s MLG Providence comes representing the biggest multiplayer games of the season such as CoD: Black Ops, Halo: Reach, League of Legends and of course, Starcraft II. All the action can be viewed over on the official MLG website via the streams available. In addition to that, we will be putting our own updates, pictures, videos and sneak-peaks of the event as it unfolds on our official Twitter & Facebook pages, as well as on this very site!

Big Starcraft II fans are also welcome to attend the local BarCraft Event in Halifax, Nova Scotia! It is a great place for StarCraft II fans to meet up, drink and watch their favorite game on a big screen!

Without a doubt, there are many surprises and hours of great high-level gaming coming up in the next few days, so buckle up – it will be great!

The excitement continues to grow as we near the weekend and the sixth annual Frag For Cancer gaming tournament! We are very happy to announce that the rules for the tournaments and challenges have been finalized, and you may find them here. Additionally, pre-registration is now open for the event. Please make an effort of filling out all of the necessary fields. Note that pre-registration is not required as you may still register at the door of the event, but it will greatly help us if you pre-register online! Frag For Cancer 6 is scheduled to take place at Dalhousie Student Union Building, McInnis Room (2nd floor) starting at 11am.
