FibreOP SC2 Tournament

The tournament is only open to Canadian registrants. Anyone that is found to be from outside of Canada will be removed from the players list. Additionally, if you win a prize from the tournament and your shipping address is not in Canada, you will not be eligible to receive it.

It would be greatly appreciated if you become a fan of FFC on Facebook, or donate to the cause on the ChipIn widget on the FFC website.

Rules

1. If a player fails to set up his/her game within 15 minutes of the announcement, they will forfeit the 1st game. 25 minutes after the announcement, a player will forfeit their match (semi-finals and finals only).
2. Sufficient warning should be made in case of requiring to pause the game (such as typing in-game chat ‘p’). If a player is blatantly abusing the pause function and sufficient evidence is shown, that player will forfeit the match.
3. Players should not chat (to their opponent, or anyone else) in-game unless they are engaging in pre-game sportsmanship, pausing, or surrendering the game.
4. Players must set their statuses to Busy.
5. The map for game 1 of each leg of the tournament will be displayed on the z33k.com website under Tournament Details. The loser of a game must select the map for the next game (bo3 or higher only). No map may be played more than once in the same best of 3 set.
6. Players who quit out of a game before it has ended without providing a reason will forfeit the match.
7. Only FFC staff and z33k.com admins may connect to the server as an observer.
8. If a player loses his/her connection to the host during a game, the game must be replayed.
9. If all minerals on the map have been consumed and no units or structures have been killed for 5 minutes, the game will be replayed.
